Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Framlo ("I", "me") for the Framlo app (previously called Honey Letter). By using the app you agree to them. They sit alongside Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/).
Using the app
You may use the app for your personal or business content, as often as you like. Please do not copy or resell the app, its templates, stickers, frames, widgets, textures, filters or fonts as your own product, and do not try to take apart or interfere with the app.
Your content
Your photos, videos, voiceovers and designs belong to you. They stay on your device. You are responsible for having the right to use the photos, videos and sounds you put into the app and for what you post. If you record other people's voices, please make sure they are happy with it. Please do not use the app to make or edit content that is illegal, or that infringes other people's rights or privacy.
Editing tools and AI features
Some tools, such as Remove background, Text behind person, Retouch and Clean up, make changes to your photo automatically. They run on your device and the results can be imperfect or unexpected, especially on faces, fine details and large areas. Please check the result before you use or share it, and keep a copy of the original. You are responsible for how you use edited photos, including not presenting an edit as something it is not where that could mislead or harm others.
Clean up needs a one-time download of an AI model (about 215 MB) from Hugging Face. It requires iOS 17 or newer and free storage space on your phone. The model (LaMa) is open-source software licensed under the Apache License 2.0, and its authors provide it without any warranty. Downloading over mobile data may be charged by your carrier.
Templates, stickers and other included content
The templates, stickers, frames, widgets, textures, filters and other items in the app, except the Gallery pictures described below, are provided for you to use in your own designs, including posts you publish and items you sell. You may not redistribute them on their own, for example by sharing the files or selling them as a pack.
Gallery pictures
The pictures in the Gallery are for your personal use. You may use them in your own designs and share those designs, for example on your own social media, but please do not sell them, sell products made with them, use them for a client or a business, or share or redistribute the pictures on their own. Many Gallery pictures are made with AI tools. They are provided as they are, and I do not promise any rights in them beyond this personal use.
Sharing and importing files
You can share your own templates, looks and filters as files and import files that other people send you. Only import files from people you trust. You are responsible for what you share, and you must have the right to share it. A shared template that uses Pro items does not give the person who receives it access to those items.
Printing
The Print-ready PDF option prepares your design for paper, with paper sizes, bleed and crop marks. Colours on paper can look different from the screen. Print results depend on your printer and paper, so please check a test print before ordering a large run.
Framlo Pro and purchases
Some content and features need Framlo Pro or a one-time purchase of a template.
- Pro subscriptions (weekly or yearly): payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
- Single templates: these are one-time purchases that you can restore on your other devices with "Restore purchases".
- A single template unlocks the Pro items that come with that template, for use in that template only. It does not unlock them in other designs.
- Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may change. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Designs that use Pro items
You can try Pro items, such as Pro stickers, filters, textures and film looks, before you buy. A design that uses a Pro item shows a Framlo watermark, and without Framlo Pro it cannot be saved or shared until the Pro items are removed. A screenshot of such a design also shows the watermark. Please do not remove or hide the watermark.
Updates and online content
The app may download new templates, stickers, frames, textures, Gallery pictures and other content, and I may add, change or remove content over time, including which items need Pro. Some features may change or stop working with newer versions of iOS.
No guarantees
The app is provided "as is". I try to keep it working well, but I cannot promise that it will always be free of errors or available without interruption. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss caused by using the app, including loss of designs or photos, so please save your finished work to your Photos and keep your original photos. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Changes
I may update these terms. The latest version is always on this page, with its date.
